The vast majority of my law practice has been devoted to insurance defense work. During the past twenty-five years, I would estimate that I have tried in excess of 500 cases to a verdict. I have appeared in 84 of the 100 counties in North Carolina. I would estimate that I have conducted in excess of 1500 Examinations Under Oath.

I have served as the Attorney for North Carolina Insurance Crime Information Exchange for over 15 years, and I continue to be an active member of that organization. My involvement with NCICIE has allowed me to lobby for new legislation affecting the insurance industry, and has also allowed me to lobby the North Carolina Rate Bureau for changes in policy language.
